Characteristics Types of rice starch
Non-Waxy Rice Starch: These natural products are available in various mesh sizes and with different starting gel points. Special grades such as low ash content, low microbial counts, irradiated and organic products are available. Types of rice starches

Waxy Rice Starch: These high amylopectin starches are available with a range of viscosity and stability characteristics. Waxy rice starches are known for their freeze/thaw stability, creamy fat-like mouthfeel and high water binding capacity. Some varieties that exhibit unique process stability without the use of chemical modifying agents are available.

Modified Rice Starch: Modified versions of both waxy and non-waxy rice starches are available for added process stability. Special modified rice starches have been created to replace gelatin in a wide range of applications.

Organic Rice Starch: Our organic rice starch is produced from whole organic polished rice. It is certified organic through Ecocert. Organic rice starch is used as a thickener in organic soups, sauces, puddings and other specialty food products.
